About Us

Located in SE Portland, Oregon, Chinese Evangelical Presbyterian Church is a small Cantonese Chinese speaking church committed to spreading love, faith, and hope. Our mission is to create an inclusive space where everyone can feel the warmth of our community and engage in spiritual growth. We offer Christian Worship Services, Bible Study, and Fellowship to connect Christians and build lifelong relationships grounded in shared values and faith.  We also offer English and Citizenship classes.  Join us as we journey together in faith, hope, and love.

Our history

Chinese Presbyterian Church established by the Presbytery missionary in 1889 by having English classes for Chinese children.  It is the first Chinese Church in the Portland area.   The church moved from Chinatown to Southeast Portland in different locations.  a few years ago, the church sold the building on Woodstock Blvd and brought the building on Foster Road on May 2023.
